Blazing Star Pharma Advisors is led by Martin Eglitis, Ph.D., who has over 20 years biomedical research experience and over 15 years of pharmaceutical licensing experience. Dr. Eglitis has headed labs at the NIH, led discovery and enablement research teams at a biotech startup, and conducted all aspects of the licensing process at global pharmaceutical companies. His therapeutic understanding includes neuroscience, oncology, inflammation, cardiovascular and orphan diseases. Having worked across the entire spectrum of drug development—from target enablement/screening technologies to advanced clinical programs, with small molecules, biologicals, and gene therapies—Dr. Eglitis now brings his expertise to large and small biopharmas worldwide.
